The autofocus coverage is very wide with 769 focus points, no less than 93% of the screen. The optical construction consists of nine elements in eight groups. One extra-low dispersion and four aspherical lens elements prevent annoying distortions and reduce chromatic aberrations. A Multi-Coating further improves image quality.
