Pentax KF
This Pentax KF is a compact, weatherproof and dustproof DSLR camera, specially designed for all types of outdoor photography.
Despite being a "standard class" camera, the Pentax KF has features you normally find in the higher end. For example, the camera features an optical viewfinder with a field-of-view of nearly 100% and an in-body shake-reduction system. You also enjoy excellent image quality thanks to the CMOS sensor with 24.24 effective megapixels and fast 14-bit readout of image data. Combined with the AA filter-free optical design, this sensor delivers images of tremendous resolution. In the Pentax KF, the PRIME MII processor minimizes noise and captures images with rich gradations and fine detail, even when shooting at a high ISO sensitivity of 102400.
High colour accuracy and resolution are achieved with Pentax's proprietary Pixel Shift Resolution System. This system takes four shots of one scene, with each shot shifting the sensor one pixel. Then these recordings are merged, resulting in a high-quality image.
These high-quality features come together in a rugged, compact body that lets you get out even in extreme situations. The body can withstand rain and dust, as well as temperatures down to -10 °C. You can always hold this body firmly thanks to its excellent grip, even with gloves on. The tiltable LCD screen allows you to shoot from a variety of angles. It is also possible to adjust the brightness and temperature of the screen, so you can still work comfortably in the dark.
