A new recording format is used for this: MP4 Lite. This is an Open Gate video mode optimised for smartphones. Within 30 seconds, your photo or video is online, just the way you want it.
You can expand the zoom range of the Panasonic S9 while maintaining image quality. This is possible through crop zoom function and the hybrid zoom function. The crop zoom function uses the centre of the camera sensor to extend the normal zoom range. The hybrid zoom function uses both the optical and crop zoom to extend the focal length even further.
