Hasselblad X2D II 100C
The Hasselblad X2D II 100C is the successor to the Hasselblad X2D 100C. This second version is now even more impressive, equipped with the best components for professional medium format cameras.
The Hasselblad X2D II 100C features a 100MP BSI CMOS medium format sensor that lets you capture stunning shots. It has 16-bit colour depth, good for around 281 trillion colours. The camera now has an extended sensitivity of ISO 50-25600 and a dynamic range of 15.3 stops.
The large 100MP sensor comes with highly powerful image stabilisation. This means you can continue to capture sharp, clear handheld images, even at long exposure times. The entire stabilisation system has been redesigned, giving the X2D II 100C 5-axis, 10-stop image stabilisation. This means up to 8 times better performance than the X2D 100C when capturing subjects at a distance.
The Hasselblad X2D II 100C offers very fast, precise focusing capabilities. AF-S mode uses no fewer than 425 PDAF zones, together with LiDAR support. The camera has also gained a new AF-C mode for reliable continuous autofocus. In this mode, powered by deep learning algorithms, people, vehicles, cats and dogs are detected and tracked with extreme precision. Also new is the AF illuminator. This improves autofocus performance in low light and also serves as a self-timer indicator.
The camera is equipped with a 3.6" OLED touchscreen. It has a maximum brightness of 1400 nits for vivid images. The screen can be pulled out and tilted: 90° upwards and around 43° downwards. This gives you a clear view from every angle. Next to the screen is a 5D joystick that lets you quickly select the correct focus point and navigate through the menu with ease. With two new, customisable buttons, you always have personalised control within easy reach.
The Hasselblad X2D II 100C has built-in SSD storage of 1TB. This allows you to store up to 50,000 HEIF images with write speeds of up to 2370 MB/s and read speeds of up to 2850 MB/s. The camera is also equipped with a CFexpress Type B slot for when you need more storage space.
The camera is compatible with the Phocus Mobile 2 app. This lets you edit RAW HDR images on your iPhone or iPad. Adjust exposure, reduce noise with Hasselblad Natural Noise Reduction (HNNR) and give images Hasselblad's natural colours. You can use the app and transfer images even when the camera is switched off.
The Hasselblad XCD 2,8-4/35-100E is a medium format zoom lens for Hasselblad X cameras. The 35-100mm focal length is comparable to a full-frame focal length of 28–76mm. This makes the lens highly versatile, from expansive landscapes to portraits.
All zoom lenses in the E series score highly in optical quality, and the Hasselblad XCD 2,8-4/35-100E is no exception. The lens consists of 16 elements (including 3 aspherical elements and 5 ED elements) in 13 groups. With this high-quality zoom lens, you can shoot beautiful images at every focal length.
The Hasselblad XCD 2,8-4/35-100E has a variable maximum aperture of f/2.8 at 35mm and f/4 at 100mm. This creates a beautiful depth of field and means the lens can still be used effectively in slightly lower light conditions.
Despite the extensive zoom range and large aperture, ingenious engineering ensures a remarkably compact form. The Hasselblad XCD 2,8-4/35-100E weighs just 894 grams and is 133mm long. This makes it, for example, 19% lighter and 10% shorter than the Hasselblad XCD 3,5-4,5/35-75.
In addition to the zoom and focus rings, the Hasselblad XCD 2,8-4/35-100E is equipped with the lens control ring from the V series. This lets you adjust the shutter speed, aperture, ISO, EV or subject switch with a simple turn.
Finally, the lens is equipped with an advanced STM stepping motor, so you can always focus very accurately and quickly.
