The Fujifilm X half charcoal silver is inspired by the popular half-frame film format of the 1960s and 1970s, which captured two photos on a single film frame. This led to vertical images becoming the standard, just as we are used to today with our smartphones. Fujifilm is now bringing this nostalgic concept back in a digital camera that is fully tailored to modern use.
The Fujifilm X-HF1 is light, compact and intuitive to use. Weighing only 240 grams, you can easily take it with you wherever you go. The fixed 32mm F2.8 lens (35mm equivalent) combined with a 1-inch 17.74-megapixel sensor delivers clear, sharp and high-contrast images, similar to Fujifilm's own QuickSnap disposable camera, but in razor-sharp digital quality.
The camera is designed with a focus on vertical compositions. The rear touchscreen has a 3:4 aspect ratio, ideal for photos and videos that you can share instantly on social media. In addition, the smart 2-in-1 function allows you to combine two vertical images or videos into one creative whole, directly in the camera.
With 13 film simulations, including the popular REALA ACE, and new creative effects such as Light Leak, Halation and Expired Film, in addition to the popular filters from the INSTAX series, you can give every shot a warm, analogue look. The unique Film Camera Mode adds an extra layer of experience: you choose a film simulation and the number of shots in advance, and only when the series is complete can you view and edit the photos in the accompanying X half app.
