The Zeiss 21mm f/2.8 Biogon is suitable for many wide-angle applications, including reportage, landscape and architecture photography. It offers outstanding performance and extreme resolving power, even with a wide-open aperture. The lens has excellent control over flare and ghosting. The compact design is comfortable to hold and focus very pleasant. A standard 46mm filter diameter is used. The lens is rangefinder coupled for easy focusing and the optional 21mm viewfinder is for accurate image composition. A lens built to manual focus makes it easier to get exactly that&eac take the picture you want. An ergonomically well-designed lens is a must. The C-Biogon series from Carl Zeiss responds perfectly to this. The user-friendly and highly sensitive focusing system of the Carl Zeiss T\* series makes quick and easy focusing child's play. Because there is no play in the focus system, you feel exactly what you are doing with every operation, no matter how small the movement.
