The Tri-Screen 3 is compatible with Windows, Mac (adapter required, see below), Chromebook and Linux laptops with at least one USB-C port with DP Alt Mode or Thunderbolt. Xebec's patented mount attaches to the back of any 13"–18" laptop screen without magnets or adhesive, so you can use it worry-free, even on business laptops.
The Xebec Tri-Screen 3 Mac adapter is required for all Mac users. It connects directly to the frame and is screwed into place, making it part of the unit so it doesn't need to be removed and reattached every time. The single-cable solution still applies, complete with the same built-in cable management system to keep everything in place. Installation of the free DisplayLink driver is required. It's NOT a dongle — it's a one-time connection, so you can truly install it and forget about it.
The adapter is required because Apple does not support MST, the technology that makes it possible to drive two additional displays from a single cable. Our specially developed adapter makes this possible thanks to the DisplayLink chips built into the circuit board.
The Tri-Screen 3 features a fully integrated USB-C cable, built directly into the Tri-Screen's frame. The Tri-Screen 3's built-in aluminium stand features ten times more contact points, delivering unrivalled stability and rigidity. This keeps your laptop firmly in place wherever you work. Made from durable aluminium, the stand protects your laptop's hinges from wear and keeps your screen stable on any surface, from your desk to your lap on the sofa.
With pass-through charging, you can charge your laptop even when the Tri-Screen 3's charging port is in use. Connect your laptop's included USB-C charger to the dedicated pass-through port on the back of the Tri-Screen 3, and up to 60W of power is passed through to keep your laptop powered up!
