The Tokina SZX Super Tele 500mm f/8.0 Reflex MF is a 500mm super telephoto lens and offers an alternative to standard telephoto lenses. The SZX is easy to travel with due to its light weight and compact size. But despite these features, the Tokina SZX Super Tele brings distant objects closer with ease to a distance that cannot be achieved with standard zoom lenses.

The lens has a catadioptric optical design and a constant aperture of f/8.0. The lens elements are coated with a multi-layer anti-reflective coating. This allows you to use a slower shutter speed in low light. The highly reflective silver-plated coating on the mirrored surfaces and the protected antioxidant coating on the back extend the life of the lens.

The Tokina SZ Super Tele 500mm f/8.0 Reflex MF has a field of view of 4°8' (per image diagonal) and a minimum focus distance of 170 centimetres. It has a magnification of 1:2.86 to capture an object with a size of 6 x 9 centimeters full frame. These features help you avoid shadows or scare away insects when taking close-up shots.

Lens caps and a lens hood are included in delivery. The SZX Super Tele supports 72mm (front) and 30.5mm (rear) filters. This gives you the freedom to use creative filters for artistic purposes.
