Tilta TA-T32-FCC-B Full Camera Cage for Canon R5C, black
The Tilta TA-T32-FCC-B Full Camera Cage for Canon R5C in black offers enhanced protection for the Canon R5C and expands the mounting options for various camera accessories. The cage features an ARRI rosette connection, two cold shoe receivers and NATO rail connections on the top and left side of the cage.
These connections are perfect options for mounting one of the optional Type IV/VI side handles or Tilta's compact NATO top handle. The cage also features multiple 1/4"-20 attachment points with positioning pins, several M3 threads and integrated slots for a shoulder strap.
The optional adjustable top handle can be attached to quickly switch between horizontal and vertical shooting configurations. The cage attaches to the camera body via a 1/4"-20 screw and uses an additional contact point via a positioning pin to prevent camera movement in the cage.
The built-in silicone pad helps keep the camera body in place and protects it from scratches that can be caused by the cage.
The base of the cage also offers a number of mounting options to attach the system to different quick release plates and supports the Tilta Smart V Mount Battery Baseplate and LWS Baseplate Type IV as standard.
The baseplate provides easy access to the battery compartment and also includes a slot for an included magnetic screwdriver. The included clamp mount attaches to the side of the cage and allows you to attach the optional HDMI to Micro HDMI adapter and an optional USB-C cable.
This accessory helps prevent these cables from coming loose while shooting and provides extra protection for the ports on the camera body. This can be particularly useful when using an external recorder, as a loose cable is very likely to ruin a shot if accidentally disconnected.
The included lens mount bracket attaches to the front of the cage via M3 screws and provides additional support for an RF to EF lens mount adapter. This provides an additional point of contact between the cage and lens adapter, helping to create a ??safer connection and reduce shifts in the image that can be caused by follow-focus systems.
