Tilta ES-T18-V Camera cage for Sony FX9 - V-mount
The Tilta ES-T18-V Camera cage for Sony FX9 (V-mount) is a comprehensive modular system that includes a V-mount battery plate distribution box and a VCT-U14 base plate with shoulder piece. The power box offers two 2-pin LEMO and three D-Tap outputs, and comes with an external XLR power input module to provide an alternative power solution for the camera. The cage also has a built-in support bracket for the lens adapter and 15 mm bar ports at the top, front and rear.
For mounting, the cage features 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 accessory and tripod mounting threads, 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 ARRI-style anti-twist threads and ARRI-style rosettes for extension arms and handles.
The V-mount battery plate attaches to the supplied top plate on the back of your camera, allowing you to power the camera and accessories. It offers two 2-pin LEMO and three D-Tap outputs, and comes with an external 4-pin XLR power input module. The battery plate can be adjusted back and forth from the back of the camera via a bracket, allowing the camera to be placed optimally on your shoulder.
The VCT-U14 base plate features an ergonomic shoulder pad and a 15 mm LWS rod mount on the front and back. Two 7.9" rods are included for attaching accessories such as a tracking focus. Standard ARRI-style rosettes on the sides of the base plate allow the installation of extension arms or additional handles, and an integrated, adjustable lens support at the front provides support for longer, heavier lenses. The base plate also features a quick-connect plate at the bottom that offers 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads for tripod mounting, and this plate is interchangeable with selected other Tilta quick-connect plates.
The top plate attaches to the top of the camera without interfering with the camera's original handle. It features a 15 mm bar clamp at the top for mounting an EVF and accessories to the supplied 4.6 cm short 15 mm bars. The side plate connects the top plate to the base plate, and both the top and side plates offer multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 ARRI-style anti-twist threads to accommodate additional accessories.
