Ideal for portraits, the Tiffen 52mm 812 Filter is designed to enhance skin tones in cool light. This filter produces a stronger warming effect than a Skylight-1A filter and is perfect for use outdoors in overcast weather or in shaded conditions with sunlight.

Tiffen 52mm 812 Filter

The filter can also be used to absorb the strong blue cast from electronic flash units, resulting in more balanced and natural skin tones.

The filter is manufactured using Tiffen's ColorCore technology, whereby the filter material is laminated between two pieces of optical glass, ground flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000 of an inch, and mounted in an aluminium ring.
