IATA DGR regulations restrict the air transport of Li-ion battery packs exceeding 100 Wh. SWIT offers a solution with the SWIT S-8192S, 184Wh Air friendly V-Mount battery — a splittable battery designed to comply with IATA regulations. The S-8192S can be divided into two sections, each with a capacity of 92 Wh, meaning neither section falls under air transport restrictions. When in use, simply combine the two sections to form a high-capacity Li-ion battery pack of 184 Wh.

When assembled, the S-8192S comprises 20 18650 battery cells and delivers a high capacity of 184 Wh / 12.8 Ah. The S-8192S can power a standard 30 W ENG camera for approximately 6 hours, making it a hassle-free companion on any flight.

The S-8192S features a standard V-mount connection and is equipped with a high-quality fibreglass V-lock wedge for reliable mounting. On the top of the S-8192S battery, there is a D-tap DC output for connecting accessories such as camera lights, monitors, wireless transmitters, and more. The maximum output of the D-tap is 100 W, 8 A.

On the side of the battery, four LED power indicators display the remaining battery capacity, allowing you to quickly check the charge level before use.
