The Sunwayfoto L-Plate is only made for the Canon EOS R with PCL-RG battery grip. This so that your camera is optimally supported. The l-plate is attached at the bottom, and is supported on the side. The Baseplate has a standard tripod connection, so your camera is securely attached. This also ensures a stable surface.
