The Sony FE 16-35mm f/2.8 GM II is a wide-angle lens with extremely fast autofocus, designed specifically for the full-frame Sony E-mount system camera. Sony uses several advanced lens technologies, so you can expect exceptional sharpness. For instance, this lens contains no fewer than four aspherical elements, including three XA glass elements and several ED glass elements. Weighing just 547 grams, you can therefore use the lens for various forms of photography and videography. For example, capturing landscapes, portraits, travel, as well as night shots. The 16-35mm f/2.8 GM II is great for shooting video with a 120fps burst mode and minimum focus breathing, another nice improvement on the 16-35mm f/2.8 GM.

Adding a coating significantly reduces chromatic aberrations, lens flare and ghosting. In addition, the lens is dust and moisture resistant, allowing you to keep shooting or filming even in extreme weather conditions.
