The SmallRig 6705 Mount Plate for Sony Alpha 7R VI is designed to improve grip comfort whilst protecting the camera base from impacts. It attaches securely to the camera with a 1/4"-20 screw and features protective pads to prevent scratches and deformation. The battery compartment includes a hinged arm for improved ergonomics and pinky finger support.

SmallRig 6705 Mount Plate for Sony Alpha 7R VI

The plate features multiple 1/4"-20 screw holes on the bottom for attaching optional accessories such as wireless grips (SmallRig ID 4551), while an integrated Arca-Swiss quick release plate ensures seamless compatibility with Arca-type tripods and DJI stabilisers (RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro / RS 5), enabling quick transitions between handheld, tripod, and gimbal setups. In addition, the mounting plate features a QD socket for attaching quick-release shoulder straps (SmallRig ID 4118) and a loop for wrist straps (SmallRig ID 3848, 4881). An integrated magnetic key is included for easy attachment and removal.
