The Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 DG OS HSM Art Canon is a versatile wide angle zoom lens that, thanks to its fast aperture, built-in image stabilisation, and hypersonic autofocus motor, is suited to a wide range of situations. As part of the Sigma Art series, great attention has been paid to advanced optical quality in the design of this lens. The optical construction consists of 19 elements arranged in 14 groups. Three Super Low Dispersion (SLD) elements and four aspherical elements minimise chromatic and aspherical aberrations, as well as colour shifts, distortion, and other optical irregularities, resulting in improved clarity and sharpness in your images. The elements feature a Super Multi-Layer Coating to suppress lens flare and ghosting, ensuring accurate colour rendering and high contrast. In addition, a protective coating has been applied to the front element, making it possible to work in a variety of conditions. The constant maximum aperture of f/2.8 enhances the versatility of this lens and delivers consistent performance across the entire zoom range, as well as better control over depth of field.

Complementing the optical performance, the 24-70mm f/2.8 DG OS HSM Art Canon features a Hyper Sonic Motor that provides fast, smooth, and near-silent autofocus.
