A member of Sigma's venerable Art series of Global Vision lenses, the Sigma 20mm f/1.4 DG HSM lens combines advanced optical design with rugged physical construction.

The Sigma 20mm F1.4 DG HSM Art lens for Nikon provides a light-sensitive brightness and bokeh and creates a unique visual experience. The angle of this lens and the sharp depth caused by the large aperture lens makes it suitable for landscapes, starry skies but also for snapshots, situations with low light, indoor photography, portraits with natural bokeh effect, and much more. The optical design minimizes distortion, lateral chromatic aberration and sagittal coma flare and prevents reduction of brightness at the edges of the image.

The Hyper Sonic Motor (HSM) ensures quiet and fast focusing, while the optimized Auto Focus (AF) algorithm makes for a smoother functioning AF function. The user can use the Manual Focus (MF) any time during the AF, simply by rotating the focus ring. This feature makes faster focusing possible because it is not necessary to use an AF / MF switch first.
