The Sigma 20mm F1.4 DG HSM Art L-Mount wide angle lens is exceptionally fast and forms part of Sigma's Global Vision Art series, combining an advanced optical design with a robust physical construction. The lens design consists of 15 elements in 11 groups and includes two "F" Low Dispersion (FLD) elements, five Special Low Dispersion (SLD) elements, and two aspherical elements to significantly reduce chromatic and spherical aberrations for bright, sharp, and evenly illuminated images. A Super Multi-Layer coating has been applied to minimise surface reflections, flare, and ghosting for improved contrast and colour fidelity. Thanks to its wide focal length and consistent image quality, this lens is particularly well suited for landscape, interior, architecture, and astrophotography, while the fast maximum aperture of f/1.4 makes it ideal for low-light shooting.

Complementing the optical performance is an equally capable Hyper Sonic Motor, delivering fast, smooth, and near-silent autofocus performance. This focus motor enables full-time manual focusing at any moment by simply turning the focus ring for refined manual control, with a minimum focusing distance of 27.69 cm. The lens barrel is constructed using a Thermally Stable Composite (TSC) material, which supports use across a range of temperatures, and the lens mount is made from brass for long-term durability and mounting precision. Please note that it is not possible to attach filters to this lens.
