The Samyang 14-24mm f/2.8 AF Lens (Sony FE) is the result of a joint development between German optics specialist Schneider-Kreuznach and Samyang. Despite its compact size of just 88.8mm long, it houses an advanced optical design with 15 elements in 11 groups. This includes 3 aspherical, 5 high-refractive and 3 extra-low dispersion elements, which all work together to deliver edge-to-edge sharpness with minimal chromatic aberration and Distortion. The effective correction of optical errors makes this lens particularly suitable for night shooting and astrophotography. The constant f/2.8 aperture ensures excellent low-light performance across the entire zoom range.

As opposed to many ultra-wide-angle zooms, the AF 14-24mm F2.8 FE allows the use of standard 77mm filters, giving users the creative flexibility to easily attach Polarisation filters and ND filters.

With a consistent minimum focusing distance of just 0.18m across the entire zoom range, the lens allows magnification of up to 0.26x – ideal for impressive close-ups. The robust construction is weatherproof and offers reliable protection against water drops, light rain, snow and dust, making it a reliable partner in challenging environments. A customisable button on the lens barrel gives Users quick access to programmable functions such as preset focus. In addition, a built-in USB port enables instant firmware updates, keeping the lens up-to-date with the latest enhancements and features.
