Rix Optics Nano N6 Thermal Clip-on
The RIX Optics NANO N6 is a compact thermal clip-on that quickly turns an existing, correctly zeroed day optic into a thermal imaging device. You mount the clip-on in front of the riflescope without having to re-zero your existing point of aim. With a length of less than 100mm and a weight of only 435 grams, the NANO N6 adds very little bulk and weight to your setup.
The high-quality VOx thermal sensor has a resolution of 640 x 512 pixels, a pixel pitch of 12 μm and a thermal sensitivity of ≤15mK. Combined with the fast 50mm f/1.0 lens, this delivers detailed images with strong contrast, even with small temperature differences or in challenging weather conditions. The smart image processing optimises the light and dark areas of the image for a clear and natural view.
Thanks to the built-in laser rangefinder, you can measure distances up to 1500 metres with an accuracy of ±1 metre. The integrated ballistic calculator then helps you determine the correct correction for different distances. The clip-on offers an accuracy of up to 1 MOA and features a fine adjustment of 1,2 cm at 100 metres. The thermal image is displayed on a sharp OLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The base magnification is 1x and the NANO N6 is suitable for day optics with a magnification of 1 to 16x. Four adjustable scale levels ensure that the user interface matches different magnifications of the riflescope used. The RIX Optics NANO N6 has a versatile 2-in-1 design. Besides use as a thermal clip-on, the device can quickly be converted into a handy thermal monocular with a separate eyepiece. With the detachable remote control, you can also operate the clip-on without having to reach forward.
Photos and videos are recorded at a resolution of 1280 x 960 pixels and stored on the internal 64GB memory. The replaceable 18650 battery offers a usage time of around four hours. Because you can quickly swap the battery, you can easily continue with a spare battery during extended use. The IP67 rating protects the device against dust and water, while the temperature range of -20 to 50°C allows reliable use in a wide variety of conditions.
