The NIKKOR Z DX 35mm f/1.7 is a versatile DX-format lens with a fixed focal length and macro functionality. The 35mm DX is a natural perspective that corresponds to 50mm in full-frame. With a maximum reproduction ratio of 0.67×, you can take vivid close-ups that show the subject almost life-size.

The bright maximum aperture of f/1.7 makes it easy to shoot in low light and delivers beautiful, soft background blur (bokeh). The short minimum focusing distance of just 0.16 metres ensures that you can capture razor-sharp images even at a distance of just a few centimetres.

The optical construction consists of eight elements in seven groups, including one aspherical ED element that ensures sharp details, accurate colours and beautiful bokeh. Thanks to its fast, quiet autofocus and minimal focus breathing, this lens is also ideal for video recording.
