The Nanlite FC-500B Bi-colour combines striking looks with very good performance. The FC-500B offers a new concept in terms of appearance - no longer so dark and subdued, but with more colour and interesting lines - while the important Nanlite DNA is still present.

The FC series LED spotlights are a new, interesting option for image makers, basically in between Nanlite's existing Forza (high-end) and FS (entry-level) lines. Lots of light at an attractive price, ideal for photography, a home studio, livestreaming and video productions on a budget. In short: additional options that are affordable and offer new opportunities for content creators to get creative with continuous light, or expand the arsenal of light.

The power output of the FC-500B is 520 watts. Plenty of power you might say, with an impressive output of 65640 lux (FC-500B with reflector at 5600K) at 1 metre. The 500B has a wide colour temperature range of 2700K - 6500K, with two built-in output modes. 'Maximum output' provides maximum brightness within the chosen colour temperature. 'Constant output' mode ensures consistent brightness across the colour temperature range.

Based on various tests, including colour rendering, fidelity and saturation, the colour reproduction capability of the FC-500B has been extensively evaluated and optimised. With CRI/TLCI ratings averaging 96 and 98 respectively, the spotlight offers lifelike colour reproduction with quite accurate precision. By the way, the surface of the COB is equipped with a protective glass layer which is sure to enhance the lifetime of your LED spotlight.
