Mofage POCO Drop-In Filter Adapter Advanced Kit (E-mount)
The Mofage POCO Drop-In Filter Adapter Advanced Kit (E-mount) includes the Sony E to PL POCO Drop-In Filter Lens Mount Adapter, which acts as both a PL lens mount adapter and an interchangeable filter holder, providing a quick interchangeable filter platform for Sony E cameras. A Mofage variable neutral density filter cartridge is included, making this a particularly useful accessory for digital cinema and mirrorless cameras without built-in ND settings. Besides the VND filter, this advanced kit includes black and white fog filters for softening images and an orange streak filter for striking effects.
Filters help make the most of your Lenses by adding variety, but this is not always the most convenient process. While many lenses accept screw-in circular filters, it can be difficult to keep track of different filter sizes and configurations when using a full lens set. Matte boxes are the industry standard to solve this problem, but their bulky profile can cause unwanted interference on your Camera rig. To remedy this, Mofage's POCO adapter moves the interchangeable filter system to the back of the adapter, minimising the volume. Although this kit comes with a preïnstalled Sony E mount, the adapter ring can be interchanged for other lens mounts. This makes this a versatile tool for a wide range of Cameras in your arsenal. Simply buy an alternative type of mount and install it with the supplied hex key.
Filters can be changed with a simple push of a button on the side of the Adapter and they snap securely to ensure the safety of your equipment in high-octane production environments. Mofage has included a variable ND filter in this kit to support Cameras without the option of native light control, as well as multiple effect filters to increase the creative potential of your optics. The VND filter has hard stops between ND 0.3 and 2.4, and the integrated 0.8 MOD gear can be linked to a follow-focus motor for remote control. Both 1/4 and 1/8 versions of the Black and White Mist Filters are included in this Advanced kit. Use Black Mist to soften glare while maintaining detailed shadows or the White Mist to create a faded, low-contrast look. The Orange Streak Filter reproduces the distinctive linear flares characteristic of anamorphic Lenses.
