The Manfrotto MVA524W Sympla vertical offset is a very handy connection to adjust the height in your video rig or shoulder tripod to your liking. By adjusting the height in a part of your rig, it is sometimes easier to use a particular lens or connect a matte box properly. It can also provide more comfort if you get the shoulder tripod better balanced with less strain on your arms. The Manfrotto MVA524W consists of two separate Sympla mounts suitable for any 15mm rod system and an adjustable centre piece with which you can determine the height.
