The Leofoto UC-04 Multifunctional clamp for Arca-Swiss L-plate can be attached using the Arca-Swiss connector to the side of your L-plate, for example. It is then possible to use the swivel clamp to clamp an accessory. A good example is using an umbrella. You clamp one side to the L-plate, on the other side you clamp the rod of a handy folding umbrella in the holder. This way, you place the umbrella above your camera, keeping it dry and leaving your hands free to operate the camera.
