The base tripod features a tripod plate made from black anodised aircraft aluminium with a leveling base fitted with a 3/8-inch tripod screw, onto which you can mount a tripod head directly. The ball of the leveling base can tilt 15 degrees in any direction, allowing you to position the tripod head perfectly level without having to adjust the length of the tripod legs. The diameter of the plate is 65 mm.
