Tilt

Changes the plane of focus. This allows for a greater depth of field (for example in landscape photography) or creative effects such as selective focus and miniature effects.

Shift

Moves the lens parallel to the sensor plane to correct converging lines (for example in architectural photography) or to create panoramic images.

Both functions can also be combined for technical corrections and/or artistic effects. The lens features two independent rotation functions. The lens mount allows 360° rotation of the camera, with click stops every 15° and locking in any position. The tripod collar allows stepless 360° rotation of the lens, which also locks in any position.
