The Laowa 12mm t/2.9 ZERO-D is a stunning wide angle cinema lens for the Sony FE mount. Despite its wide 122-degree angle of view, the lens produces virtually no distortion, making it ideal for your high-end film productions. The compact design means you can easily take it anywhere — it measures 87mm in length and weighs just 675 grams.

Where most wide angle lenses produce at least 2 to 4% distortion, the Laowa has virtually none. Hence the name 'ZERO-D': Zero Distortion. It also allows you to focus extremely close — from as little as 18cm (from the sensor), your subjects are sharp and in frame. With a t-stop of 2.9, you can create unique images with stunning bokeh.

Thanks to the 0.8 mod gears on both the aperture and focus rings, you can use a follow focus system with this lens. The focus ring rotates 270 degrees, allowing for very smooth focus adjustments.

The 12mm lens comes with a 114mm step-ring so you can use a matte box, keeping unwanted sunlight and lens flares at bay. Even with a matte box installed, your videos remain free from vignetting.
