The HOYA Starscape filter is designed for night landscape photography and reduces light pollution caused by artificial lighting.

The filter reduces light transmission in the region of the spectrum associated with light pollution. The HOYA Starscape provides a clearer image with natural colours and better contrast.

Other filters may cause colour shift, especially when used with wide-angle or super wide-angle lenses. Thanks to a special glass formula, this is not the case with the HOYA Starscape. The HOYA Starscape filter is very useful when taking time-lapse shots.
