HoverAir Aqua Basic Combo
The HoverAir Aqua Basic Combo is a fully waterproof, self-flying camera drone that has been specifically developed for use on and around water. The drone can take off directly from the water and land back on the water, so you can use it worry-free during water sports and long days on the lake. Ideal for anyone who wants to capture dynamic footage during activities such as surfing, stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, sailing, or boating. Thanks to advanced subject tracking, the Aqua automatically stays focused on you, without needing a controller at all times. You can choose from more than 10 automatic flight modes, including Follow, Orbit, Bird’s Eye, Dolly Track, and dedicated modes for kayaking, paddleboarding, and surfing. This makes it easy to create smooth, cinematic footage while you can fully focus on the action.
The camera captures sharp footage in 4K at 100 fps, perfect for smooth slow-motion shots. In addition, the Aqua supports HDR video up to 4K 60 fps, so details in bright and dark areas are better preserved, for example with reflections on the water. The large 1/1.28” CMOS sensor, built-in stabilization, 1-axis gimbal, and horizon correction ensure stable footage, even during movement and in choppy conditions. The included Lighthouse is a portable tracking and control device that strengthens the connection with the Aqua. With RTK positioning, the Lighthouse and Aqua track each other’s position very accurately, which improves tracking.
You can also easily start or stop recording and have the drone return with a single press of a button. With a top speed of 55 km/h and wind resistance up to level 7, the Aqua effortlessly keeps up during fast water sports. The floating design, IP67 waterproof construction, and corrosion-resistant finish make it suitable for waves, rain, and saltwater environments. Does the Aqua end up upside down on the water? Then TurtleFlip helps the drone right itself again. The drone weighs less than 250 grams and features 128 GB of built-in storage, so you don’t need a separate memory card.
