The MAX2's lenses are water-resistant and made of super-strong optical glass. If they ever get scratched, you can easily replace the lenses. This allows you to shoot even in extreme conditions, as you can simply replace the damaged lens with a new one. This way, you can continue to use the camera for a long time.
