The Fujifilm XF 56 mm f/1.2 R WR is a tremendously fast mid-telephoto lens, ideal for portrait photography.

This lens has a number of improvements compared to its predecessor, such as a considerably shorter focusing distance, a greater resolving power and 11 aperture blades that create beautiful bokeh. In addition to portrait photography, this lens is also perfect for product shots thanks to its short focusing distance of 50 centimetres.

The lens consists of 13 elements in 8 groups, including 1 ED element and 2 aspherical elements. As a result, this lens boasts higher resolution power and improved detail reproduction than its predecessor. As many as 8 of the 13 elements are used in focusing, minimising chromatic and spherical aberration. As a result, the resolution and detail reproduction are of a high level.

The Fujifilm XF 56 mm f/1.2 R WR features a robust body that is sealed in 9 places for dust and weather resistance. In addition, the lens can be used in temperatures as low as -10° Celsius. The front lens element also features a fluoride coating, which repels water and protects the lens from staining.
