Canon EF-M 28mm F/3.5 Macro IS STM

The Canon EF-M 28mm F/3.5 Macro IS STM is a compact prime lens that is ideally suited to macro photography. The lens has a Canon EF-M mount and is suitable for cameras with APS-C sensors. It offers a maximum magnification of 1.2x, so you capture your subject slightly larger than it is in real life. It has a very short minimum focusing distance of 9.3cm. What makes this lens extra special is the integrated macro LED lighting, which lets you add extra light to your close-up subject whenever you need it. The construction of the lens is also something to write home about. With, among other things, one UD element and two aspherical elements, chromatic and spherical aberrations are reduced, so you benefit from optimal sharpness and detail.

In addition to its high-quality optical features, the Canon EF-M 28mm is also equipped with the Hybrid IS image stabilisation system, which minimises camera movement and vibration when you shoot handheld. Focusing is completely silent and smooth, so you don't disturb your subject. This advantage is even more noticeable when you record video, because you won't be bothered by distracting noises. Although the autofocus motor does an excellent job, you can always switch quickly and easily to manual focus to focus on your subject down to the finest detail.
