The Benro ALS001 is a maintenance kit containing 30 shims for Benro aluminium tripods and monopods. Ideal for photographers and videographers who want to restore the original performance of their tripod without replacing the entire unit.

Benro Shims / Sliding Plates for Aluminium Tripods

Sliding plates in tripod and monopod legs wear over time. You notice this when leg sections slide less smoothly, tension becomes uneven or a leg no longer locks properly. In many cases, the cause is not the tripod itself, but wear on the small plastic spacer plates. The Benro ALS001 provides a complete set of 30 replacement shims in all required sizes for Benro’s full aluminium range, including monopods. This allows you to restore the original performance without having to replace the tripod.

The set is suitable for periodic maintenance and targeted repairs. Because not every repair requires all shims, the remaining shims stay available for future maintenance. This makes the ALS001 a practical, cost-saving investment.
