B.I.G. Digital Flash Set with Servo Trigger

A single flash straight on produces flat light. With the B.I.G. Digital Flash Set, you place a second flash beside or behind your subject, so you get shape and depth back. You don't need a hot shoe or sync cable for it.

That's handled by the servo trigger. It reacts to the light pulse from the flash on your camera and fires the second flash at exactly the same moment. So there's no cable running between your camera and your flash, and you're free to put the flash wherever you want it.
