That’s why you can rent a product from us first and then buy it. Ideal for photographers and videographers who are still unsure! Plus, you’ll receive a discount if you decide to purchase the same product afterwards.

Attractive discount
Did you purchase the rented product within 30 days after your rental period? Then you will receive the price of your first rental day (including VAT) as a discount. This can significantly reduce your purchase price.
This also applies to second-hand and outlet models.

At Kamera Express, you’ll find the largest selection to test before you buy. Whether you’re curious about a new photo camera, video camera or lens, this way you can always make the right choice for your way of working.
How does it work?
In just a few steps, you can use Try Before You Buy at Kamera Express:
- Rent from Budgetcam
Choose the camera, lens, or accessory you want to try. You can easily rent it from Budgetcam and start using it right away.
- Test the equipment
Try the product in your own way. Discover whether it fits your photography style and your other gear.
- Decide within 30 days
If you’re convinced, visit one of the Kamera Express stores in the Netherlands, Belgium, or Germany within 30 days after your rental period.
- Bring your invoice and ID
Don’t forget to bring your rental invoice and identification. This allows us to verify who you are and confirm your eligibility for the discount.
- Receive a discount on your purchase
You’ll receive a discount equal to the value of your first 2 rental days including VAT. This also applies if you choose a second-hand or outlet model, or if you trade in an older model.
Terms and conditions: Try Before You Buy
To be eligible for the discount, the following conditions apply:
- In-store only – This promotion can only be redeemed in our stores in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany.
- Maximum of 2 rental days discount – Even with a longer rental period, only up to 2 days will be deducted.
- Within 30 days after the last rental day – You have 30 days after your final rental day to visit the store and claim your discount.
- Purchase the rented item (or a similar one) – The discount applies to the same model you rented, or a comparable model from the same brand.
- One-time discount per product – Only one Budgetcam invoice can be used per purchase. Combining multiple invoices is not allowed.
- Valid on both new and second-hand products – The discount can be used on brand-new items as well as second-hand and outlet models.
- Discount cannot exceed the purchase price – If the product (new, second-hand, or outlet) is cheaper than the rental value, the discount cannot be applied.
FAQ
No. The rented product is intended for rental use, not for sale. If you are satisfied and want to purchase the product with the Try Before You Buy discount, you can buy a brand-new version of the same model.
The only exception is if you intentionally choose a second-hand or outlet model.
Yes, it can be combined with other promotions such as cashback offers, instant discounts, and more.
No, this promotion only applies to direct purchases. The discount cannot be used in combination with a subscription or installment payment plan.
No, you don’t need to inform us in advance. Just bring your invoice and identification to the store, and we will make sure the discount is applied to your purchase.
