The Sony PXW-FS5 mark II Body is a compact camcorder with extensive capabilities and features. The design of the FS5 mark II is fully geared to the needs of videographers and brings significant improvements over its predecessor. You can shoot video at an even higher frame rate, the camera captures colors even better and it uses the Instant HDR workflow. The camera also saves your files directly to the memory card you insert in one of the two memory card slots. Of course, you can record 4K footage in RAW quality at 50p or 60p.

The RAW output on the PXW-FS5 mark II is free, and you benefit from higher frame rates. With this professional video camera you can record in various formats and resolutions. Go for extremely high 4K quality at 60fps in RAW output, for example, or choose 120fps with bursts of up to four seconds. The FS5 mark II also features a built-in electronic ND filter that you can control from 1/4ND to 1/128ND. This filter can also be set automatically, so you don't have to keep an eye on it. You focus on your subject via the OLED viewfinder or the 3.5" LCD screen. You can even attach this screen to the camera in no fewer than nine different positions! This lets you manually find exactly the right focus.

Shooting in bad weather or other extreme conditions is no problem at all with the Sony PXW-FS5 mark II. Despite its light weight (only 800 grams for the body), the video camera is built to a very sturdy standard. It has a 1/4" screw mount, so you can easily place the camera on a tripod, gimbal or underwater housing.
