The Fotodiox lens Mount adaptor Pro PRONTO Autofocus Adapter Mark II Leica M Mount Lens to Sony E-Mount lets you use traditional Leica M-mount lenses (with manual focus) as autofocus lenses on selected Sony E-Mount cameras.

By using the camera's phase detection autofocus system (PDAF), autofocus becomes possible even with manual focus lenses. Both AF-S and AF-C focusing are supported. With an integrated function button, you can access different focus modes. This lets you set the focal length and the maximum aperture of the lens used on the adapter for optimal compatibility.

When the lens is set to the close focus position, the extension of the adapter can be used to take macro shots. You can also set the lens to the infinity focus position to enable autofocus across the entire focus range. Performance is best with 50mm lenses, while wider and longer telephoto lenses may require coarser lens focusing. This adapter is designed to support lenses weighing up to 0.6kg.
