Canon Powershot G1X mark III
The Canon Powershot G1X mark III is ideal if you are looking for a compact, all-in-one alternative to a DSLR. The camera has the same APS-C sensor as the EOS 80D. This Canon compact camera combines the speed, quality and flexibility of a DSLR camera with the easy operation of a PowerShot compact. And with the fast DIGIC 7 processor and precise optical zoom, the Canon G1 X Mark III offers the flexibility you need for a wide range of subjects.
The compact size of the Canon Powershot G1X mark III makes this camera perfect for discreetly capturing everything you come across on the go. Thanks to the APS-C sensor and a high sensitivity range of ISO 100 to 25,600, you can take beautiful shots in a wide variety of lighting conditions. Whether you are shooting high-contrast scenes or low-contrast subjects, the PowerShot G1 X Mark III always delivers the best results. The DIGIC 7 processor ensures excellent image quality, and thanks to the Auto Lighting Optimiser and Diffraction Correction, you spend less time on post-processing.
The G1 X Mark III is equipped with Dual Pixel CMOS AF. This lets you focus lightning fast, so you never miss a spontaneous moment. The camera focuses in just 0.09 seconds, so accurate focusing works flawlessly, giving you the speed and confidence you need to capture every spontaneous moment.
Whether you are shooting portraits or macro close-ups, the 3x optical zoom lens offers a versatile focal range of 24-75mm (35mm equivalent) and a minimum focusing distance of just 10 centimetres. This opens up plenty of possibilities for a wide range of subjects. The shallow depth of field is the result of combining the large APS-C sensor with the f/2.8-5.6 aperture. The aperture has 9 blades, which produces a beautiful, circular bokeh. The 4-stop image stabiliser compensates for unwanted movement across five axes. This gives you extra confidence when shooting in low light.
The camera shoots Full HD video at 60 fps. The smooth, shake-free footage is the result of Dual Pixel CMOS AF and 5-axis Advanced Dynamic image stabilisation. This stabilises your footage while you film on the move. Dual Pixel CMOS AF also enables creative focus pulls for cinematic footage, just like in film. The camera also offers time-lapse and panorama options. With a single press of a button and a horizontal or vertical movement, you can easily create impressive panoramic photos full of detail.
